Next Dinner Meeting: Nov. 19
The next dinner meeting will be on Sunday, November 19,
2000 at the Carlton Moaibid Hotel, Khobar. The speaker
is Mr. Jean-Louis Gheysens, CEO of NRG Technologies, San
Francisco, California.
The title of the presentation will be "Reformulated
Gasoline Using OXYMAX: Toward Cleaner Transportation
Fuel for Tomorrow". OXYMAX is both a process and a
series of products that have been developed by NRG
Technologies to enhance the octane content and
performance of gasoline while offering environmental
benefits. Unlike MTBE and ETBE, OXYMAX is a catalytic
cogenerative process which relies solely on onsite
contained carbon and energy sources (crude oil, gas,
by-product, steam and off-gases) for its making rather
than requiring etherification alcohol purchases.
Mr. Gheysens has 25 years of experience in the fuel
treatment industry. His expertise and credibility were
acknowledged by a commission that was formed to develop
a specialty product for Rhone-Poulenc, ICI, ATO CHIMIE,
Air Liquid, and Union Carbide among others. Mr. Gheysens
is a member of the American Chemical Society, a holder
of several patents, and the inventor of both OXYMAX and
GAMMAX technologies.
The dinner will be sponsored by NRG Technologies and
costs SR 15 for members, SR 30 for nonmembers. To
register, please call 874-6427 by Saturday morning,
November 18. The doors will open at 6:30 PM and the
presentation will start at 7:00 PM, followed by the
dinner.
